Happy December!
I am writing this from Gainesville, and tomorrow awaits my oral board interview for Gainesville's fire department. It was great seeing all those mustaches this weekend, and to those who didn't have one..."you looked so stupid without your mustache". Can't wait to see you guys over Christmas/ Hanukah / Kwanzaa (Gabe/Paul). Also, I would like to ask everyone to give Paul an E-pplause for his newly acquired title of runner-up in the novice-heavyweight division of HWC
HIALEAH WEIGHTLIFTING CHAMPIONS

. I love you guys, and I count the days until Stachegiving 5. Damn that has a good ring to it.

Stachegiving 2k8!
For all of you that were in attendance, I had an amazing time at Stachegiving 2009 with you! I especially loved the tiebreaker round between Megan and Roig and the new frisbee game. The raffle was sweet too, even though I wound up with something I was trying to get out of my room.
And those that couldn't make it, we sure missed you! Gabe and Chris, check out the pics on Kramer's facebook. You'll have your beautiful shirts in no time (thanks to Aug)! See you at Stachegiving '09?
Finally, I am really enjoying a bald top lip!
Love you all, and, as Mario said, We all have a lot to be Stacheful for this year!"

T minus 2 days!
I'm all for the raffle and I can't wait to see the shirts. I've also got another game up my sleeve. I was thinking of keeping it a secret, but I'll spill the beans!
Pin the stache on the GAP model!!
When I woke up this morning, I rolled over and laid my eyes on one of the two enormous posters of a gap model's face that I have in my room. The very first thought that came to my head was "pin the tail on the donkey." It seemed so perfect! So one of the models will be joining us at Stachegiving and we can play a rousing game of Pin the Stache on the GAP Model!
As far as the raffle goes, should we do it the same as we did last year? Everyone brings one item that they think other people might like (If I may commend James Curry on the mini-gaming system from last year), not something that they're just trying to get rid of (Last year I got a wrist guard). It doesn't have to be new; in fact, I personally prefer gently used items. Everyone who brings in an item gets to pick a number that corresponds to one of the fabulous prizes, and voila!, you got yourself a Stachegiving present!
One last thing: Since a couple of the lucky bloggies have noted their great prizes in contests lately, I'd like to announce that my dad just found out that he was the Grand Prize winner in the "Home Field Advantage" sweepstakes from Publix! He won a trip to NY for 2 nights/ppl to see the Dolphins play the Jets. We're also getting a 32 inch flat screen TV and an Xbox 360 and having a football party here with former Dolphin players, courtesy of Publix!
Can't wait to see most of you at Stachegiving! For the rest of you, the solo stache I've been rocking for the last month hasn't just been for me, it's been for every man, woman, and child who can't or doesn't qualify to attend Stachegiving.
I haven't seen my upper lip in 5 months and I couldn't be happier.

Looks like Stacegiving is going national!
As some of you know I recently won a best prize contest by writing a little snibit about Stachegiving, thanks to a fellow blogee Augustin Fernandez-Isla. (I love you bro you're always number one in my heart kid) Anyway, apparently I'm being interviewed by the herald and several news stations about the contest and stacegiving. The news crews might be riding along with us. They'll know by our 4th annual mustache that we mean business.
Congrats boys on going national,
Roig

I don't know about you guys...
But I am getting jittery. My mustache is in full bloom, I've been initiating, and been approached about facial hair conversations. I think the shirts should be ready tomorrow, and I'm dying to see them. I hope they came out good! I can't wait to see you all(sorry gabe!), and lets figure out if we're doing a raffle like we did last year. Love you guys lots, and i hope you all have safe trips back home

T shirts
hey guys, I have contacted most of you about the Stachegiving t-shirt situation already, and it's looking pretty good, I'm gonna be going in to the silkscreening place monday morning to try to finalize everything. Im trying to keep the T shirt price under $10, so i think we might end up with a nice hanes tagless 50/50 shirt or around the same as that.... I'm gonna be fronting the money to make them so i would appreciate a quick payment when you guys get down. Also, if you have any friends that plan on going that might want a shirt, or if you want one for your mom/dad/cat/housekeeper let me know before monday obviously, and if i don't know the person you're ordering for, you're vouching for payment on their behalf if they flake out. Ill try to post the design, its nothing fancy, but looks sharp! I miss you all and can't wait for this years festivities.

New Idea
An addendum to my last post:
Who would be up for going to DC over Hannukah break?!?
I'm flexible on dates. I think I get done with exams around the 18th and I think I have to be back at school on January 5. Let's do it! I have a pretty good friend living in DC and we might be able to stay with him (tee hee!).

Bodybuilding vs. family
With some reluctance, I'm proud to let you all know that I denied an invitation to go to a play with my family so that I can make sure I'm able to go to Paul's competition. Who is planning on going to/participating in this? I think we need a strong mustachioed contingent to support our hero who is bringing pollution down to zero. Also, Paul have you decided on a song?
In other news, I was telling Michelle about the amazing Lil Wayne song that Augie showed some of us. Of course, I was doing Weezy no justice just talking about it. Luckily, the gods shined down upon us and we were lucky enough to hear it on the radio. Needless to say, she immediately drove us to a Spec's Music and bought every copy of The Carter III they had.
I think that's all for now...Miss you all!
Anyone up for a Hannukah break camping trip?

So tonight at a bar some random bro came up to me and told me to trim my stache. Needless to say, I was absolutely offended.

Get your fest pics while they're hot!
Hey guys, just settling back home right now and I needed to get these wonderful pictures up so that everyone else can enjoy them too.
Here's a .zip file with all of the rest of the pictures I took at full size.
Favorite quotes of the weekend. "It happens" and "He really is that jacked!"
